School of Public Health Speaker Series highlights rural health and community engagement
WVU School of Public Health will kick off its Fall 2024 Speaker Series on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with Brian Hendricks, Ph.D., and Dovenia Ponnoth, Ph.D., from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine presenting "Cultivating Innovation - West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine’s Expanding Research Horizons in Rural Health and Community Engagement.”
Hollander named interim chair of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology
John Hollander, Ph.D., senior advisor for research development in the Office of Research and Graduate Education, will serve as interim chair of the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, effective Sept. 1.
Nomination deadline extended for annual Wilks Award for Excellence in Simulation
The nomination period has been extended for the annual David H. Wilks Award for Excellence in Simulation. Named in honor of the late Dr. David Wilks, the award acknowledges the dedication of faculty who set high standards in teaching and learning at the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS).
