Medicine Grand Rounds hosts Dr. Sarah Sofka
Dr. Sarah Sofka will speak as part of the Medicine Grand Rounds on Friday, June 11, at 8 a.m. This presentation titled "MICROAGGRESSIONS: Why they matter and how to respond to them in the clinical learning environment" will take place over Zoom and in person at the Fukushima Auditorium, Room 1901.
WVU Vice President Poore to lead Big 12 diversity officers
West Virginia University Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore, Esq. is the new president of the Big 12 Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education. Her term officially began on June 1.
Richmond elected to American Board of Surgery Council
Bryan Richmond, M.D., MBA, FACS, professor and chair of West Virginia University – Charleston Division’s Department of Surgery and Chief Medical Officer of WVU Physicians of Charleston, has been elected to the American Board of Surgery Council for a six-year term beginning in July 2021.
