The WVU Department of Family Medicine announces the first Charlotte Nath Family Medicine Research Day on September 30, 2021, to be held in conjunction with the 46th Annual Hal Wanger Family Medicine Conference September 30 - October 1, 2021 at the Morgantown Marriot Waterfront Place. Radiology resident selected to join 2021 - 2022 Radiographics Review Panel
WVU Radiology resident Dhairya A Lakhani, M.D., has been selected to join the RadioGraphics Review Panelist position. As a panelist, he will have an impactful role in evaluating and recommending materials that will fill the pages of the 2021 – 2022 issues of the journal. Launched by the Radiological Society of North America in 1981, RadioGraphics is one of the premier education journals in diagnostic radiology. Each bimonthly issue features 15–20 practice-focused articles spanning the full spectrum of radiologic subspecialties and addressing topics such as diagnostic imaging techniques, imaging features of a disease or group of diseases, radiologic-pathologic correlation, practice policy and quality initiatives, imaging physics, informatics and lifelong learning.
Dr. Allison Suttle to serve as WVU Health System’s chief quality officer
Michael Edmond, M.D., chief medical officer (CMO) of the West Virginia University Health System, announced today the appointment of Allison Suttle, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.O.G., as the Health System’s chief quality officer (CQO). Dr. Suttle will start her new role in October and does so at a critical time: as the System continues to grow, ensuring consistency in the delivery of care across its 21 owned and managed hospitals is a top priority.
