New web calendar launches Wednesday

WVU University Relations – Digital Services is launching a new web calendar system which will replace calendar.wvu.edu on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

A Mask Q&A: Addressing common questions about the KN95, N95 masks and more

School of Public Health Public Health-General Preventive Medicine program residents – Vida Falahatian, MD, and Margaret Karcher, DO – and PH-GPM Program Director Jennifer Lultschik, MD, help answer some frequently asked questions about masks, including the KN95 mask, recommended by WVU, and N95 mask, used widely in patient-care settings.

WVU Medicine updates masking policy

Based on updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about masking, WVU Medicine is strongly encouraging non-clinical staff who do not work in patient care areas to switch to a medical-grade mask and not use cloth masks.

HSC update: Student Activity Center to be closed

The Student Activity Center will be closed beginning Friday, January 21, to be used for N-95 mask fit testing for three weeks. An announcement will be released when the center is set to reopen for student use.

NIOSH PPRB Seminar Series Feb. 9

The NIOSH PPRB Seminar Series welcomes Ann Hubbs, DVM, PhD, Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. for "The Many Types of Lung Fibrosis and Why We Care." Hubbs serves as veterinary medical officer in the Pathology and Physiology Research Branch of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
