Express Your Gratitude: Help decorate Student Services tree with notes of gratitude
Each month, Senior Academic Adviser Dedra Cobb decorates a tree in the Student Services wing for the appropriate season or holiday. She is inviting students to participate in the decoration of November's tree by creating messages of gratitude.

WVU School of Nursing Beckley Campus junior leads breast cancer awareness event
Lauren Harrah, a junior at the Beckley Campus, organized the Oct. 18 event at the Learning Resource Center at WVU Tech to share educational pamphlets about breast cancer, as well as breast cancer giveaways, such as bracelets, pens, stickers and notepads.
Nursing senior selected for 2022 Homecoming Court
Olivia Steeley, a senior School of Nursing student, has been selected as a candidate for the 2022 West Virginia University Homecoming Royalty Court.
Final fall seminar series event focuses on burnout and loneliness
The final seminar in the three-part fall series presented by the WVU Health Sciences Chancellor’s Office, “Burnout & Loneliness,” will take place Wednesday, Nov. 2 at noon in Health Sciences Center North Room G119A and via Zoom.
WVU celebrates history of health care in West Virginia with dedication of William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences
West Virginia University Libraries and WVU Health Sciences will hold a dedication ceremony to celebrate the opening of the William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences on Friday, Oct. 28. The ceremony will include remarks, a ribbon-cutting, portrait unveiling, reception and self-guided tours of the museum.
