Epidemiology and Biostatistics faculty member honored with Chancellor’s Outstanding Scholar Award
In recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in teaching and scholarly activities, Christa Lilly, associate professor in biostatistics, has been selected to receive the Academic Scholar Award, and will be honored during the upcoming Chancellor’s Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony.
OLLI Hosts 16th Annual Irving Goodman Aging Lecture
Join OLLI at WVU on Wednesday, Sept. 14, for the 16th annual Irving Goodman Aging Lecture with guest speaker, Susan H. McFadden, co-founder of Fox Valley Memory Project. While never denying the losses and suffering that accompany a dementia diagnosis, Dr. McFadden will describe what she has learned about community support for people living with dementia from her experiences establishing the nonprofit in Wisconsin dedicated to creating meaningful, joyful connections with others.
