Charles D. Ponte, PharmD, professor in the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy Department of Clinical Pharmacy and School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine, retired at the end of October. He has served on the faculty at WVU since 1980.

Mon County delegate to speak about a House Bill that would cap insulin prices
The WVU Medicine Diabetes Education Center is hosting a Monongalia County lawmaker to discuss a House Bill (HB) that would cap insulin prices for West Virginians. Delegate Barbara Evans Fleischauer will talk about HB 4543 on Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fukushima Auditorium at the WVU Health Sciences Center. If passed, HB 4543 would cap insulin costs at $25 for a month supply. This event is free, and all students, faculty and staff are welcome.
