Membership with AWIS West Virginia Chapter:

Individuals who wish to join a Chapter must also be National members. No one shall be denied membership on the basis of race, sex, religion, national origin, color, age, disability, or veteran status.

To join the West Virginia Chapter, please register at the AWIS National Website – AWIS-WV, select the link under the desired membership level, and select West Virginia Chapter in your profile. Chapter dues will automatically be added to the cost of your National membership depending on your National membership type.

WVU Students, Faculty, and Staff (All campuses):

Membership to AWIS National is FREE as a part of the WVU Institutional Partnership! Dues for the WV Chapter are only $10.

Set up user name and put in first and last name

Click on “accept this membership” and continue

Complete the registration form (please use your WVU email)

Click on the appropriate institution

Click on submit to complete the process

AWIS National Memberships without WVU affiliation:

BENEFACTOR – The $1,000 Benefactor level provides support at the highest level and ensures AWIS can continue its legacy as the respected voice among policy and decision makers for women in STEM.
+ $10 West Virginia Chapter Membership Dues = $1010
           
PATRON – The $500 Patron level illustrates a deep commitment to advancing the status of women and sets a leading example for others.
+ $10 West Virginia Chapter Membership Dues = $510
           
SUSTAINING – The $250 Sustaining level is for mid-to senior level career professionals supports the next generation of women by enabling AWIS to provide quality programming and resources to graduate students and early career professionals. Sustaining members receive priority access to AWIS materials and events.
+ $10 West Virginia Chapter Membership Dues = $260
           
PROFESSIONAL – The $150 Professional level is for early to mid-career level professionals, reflects a commitment to the AWIS mission.
+ $10 West Virginia Chapter Membership Dues = $160
           
JUNIOR – The $65 Junior level is a basic membership package designed for students, postdocs and medical residents.
+ $10 West Virginia Chapter Membership Dues = $75
