WVU Medicine offering COVID-19 testing in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Medicine is continuing to offer COVID-19 testing at its outpatient center at University Town Centre in Morgantown. The testing at this location is not free; a provider’s order is required to be tested.

Patients should contact their primary care providers to determine if they need a screening test.

Testing is available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Governor’s Office, the Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, the West Virginia National Guard, and community partners will be providing free testing in Monongalia and Preston counties this weekend.

In Monongalia County, free testing will be provided from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday at the Morgantown Farmer’s Market on Spruce Street and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at 661 Greenbag Road.

In Preston County, free testing will be provided from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Kingwood Elementary School.
