Transportation available for today's 'Save Our State' event

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice will visit West Virginia University Wednesday, March 29, as part of his "Save Our State" tour.

Faculty, staff, students, and community members are welcome to join the Governor in the Mountainlair Ballrooms at 2:30 p.m.

Justice will discuss the higher education budget and overall budget issues for the state. Accompanying him to discuss health and infrastructure issues will be Department of Health and Human Resources Secretary Bill Crouch and Transportation Secretary Tom Smith.

WVU President Gordon Gee, Vice President Clay Marsh, M.D., and Provost Joyce McConnell will welcome the gubernatorial delegation to WVU.

Based on interest, WVU is offering free, reserved parking at the Mountainlair Garage and WVU Transportation and Parking has added shuttle buses, including one from the Health Sciences Building. The PRT will be free for everyone all afternoon. More details are available here.
