2020 graduate placements in PGY-1 residencies

Our graduates are going places! Twenty-nine SoP graduates from the Class of 2020 were matched with post-graduate residencies.

Residency Statistics

  • 74% match rate, 11% higher than the national average!
  • 13 residents are staying in WV!
  • 7 residencies are at WVU Medicine or WVU-affiliated!
  • 3 newly developed residencies at WVU Medicine!
  • Students will be doing residencies in 11 other states.
