The Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is offering virtual volunteer opportunities for students at the Health Sciences Center.
Call for Applications: Dr. James Stevenson Scholarships
Behavioral and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Training Program scholarships are available for 2021. These scholarships are made in recognition of Dr. James Stevenson, former Chair of the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at West Virginia University. Two to three scholarship of up to $2,500 will be offered.

Dr. Martinez is an Associate Professor in the WVU School of Medicine and Cancer Institute. He is passionate about increasing the diversity of students and faculty at WVU. He recently answered a few questions about why he chose WVU, insights he offers to students and collaborations that have helped him to become a successful scientist.

S. citizens to date.
WVU issues Community Notice regarding hate group recruitment flyers distributed on Morgantown campus
West Virginia University was made aware on Tuesday, March 9, that a national hate group had distributed recruitment flyers on the Morgantown campus. An investigation has been completed, which included the University Police Department communicating with the FBI to gather additional potential information about the group.
