WVU Medicine Stroke Conference accepting registration
The 2019 WVU Medicine Stroke Conference, presented by WVU Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute, will be held Friday, May 17, in the Bruce McClymonds Conference Center at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The conference will feature lectures on adult stroke, including acute stroke intervention, management of acute stroke patients, stroke rehabilitation, research, telemedicine, and more. The West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services will share its plan for the advancement of stroke care access across the state.
The conference is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, emergency medical personnel, rehabilitation specialists, and researchers with an interest in stroke care.
