Walk with a Future Doc session to feature discussion on acupuncture

Jason Oreskovich, D.O., will give a presentation on acupuncture during the Walk with a Future Doc session on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m.

Dr. Oreskovich is an assistant professor and the co-director of the Family Medicine Clerkship. His presentation is titled "Acupuncture: An Ancient Therapy for Modern Disease!" The talk will focus on the practice of acupuncture including the process, benefits and applications. The presentation will also include a short demonstration following the walk.

Participants can meet at Star City Riverfront Park at mile 6.7 of the Mon River Rail Trail near Terra Cafe to join the walk in person. Participants can also join the walk remotely via Zoom and walk along at home.
