Empowerment through Journaling
Marilee Kitzmiller, a Keyser Campus senior, implemented an inspiring capstone project that focused on boosting self-esteem among 4th-grade students. Her interactive approach not only encouraged self-expression but also helped the students recognize their unique positive qualities.

Caring for Ourselves
Marilee Kitzmiller's capstone project is a great reminder of the importance of taking care of ourselves at every age. As nurses, we are called to care for others, and we do so with pride. But to be the best caregivers we can be, we cannot forget to take care of ourselves.
As we approach the end of the semester and final exams, remember to take time for yourselves — whether you cook a healthy meal, go for a walk or a hike, or simply take time to rest after studying.
For our Morgantown students, don't forget that our Student Services wing is offering complimentary snacks and drinks, as well as a location to study, now through Friday, Dec. 13. The Student Lounge (Room 6319) is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Our staff, faculty, and administrative team are always here for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything as we wind down the semester. Best of luck to you all on your final exams!
Let's Go,
Dean Hulsey
