Reminder for common areas at the Health Sciences Center

WVU Health Sciences strives to provide a safe, fair and orderly environment for students, employees, patients, visitors and other guests.

To maintain the environment for work and study, the Health Sciences Facilities Planning Committee developed a set of guidelines for those furnishing common spaces and posting artwork, informational notices and signage, etc. The common area guidelines are posted. Unauthorized installations or postings may be removed by Facilities staff. This policy includes freestanding and easel-style signage placed in public spaces in the Health Sciences Center which are subject to removal.

To assist with communication needs, including signage and event promotion, a Communication Guide is available online for the Health Sciences community. The website provides information about University procedures as well as links to forms and contact information. A ‘How Do I…’ section is also included to answer frequently asked questions. In addition to system-wide procedures, school-specific information can be found throughout the site where applicable.
