MUSHROOM fundraiser provides support for street rounds program

Modeled after the "Operation Safety Net" program in Pittsburgh, MUSHROOM - Multidisciplinary UnSheltered Homeless Relief Outreach Of Morgantown is an initiative of WVU’s Family Medicine Interest Group.

The program brings together medical, nursing, dental, social work and other health professional volunteers on "street rounds" to help those in need.

To support their efforts, MUSHROOM is selling apparel to fundraise for supplies needed for street rounds. The online order form is available through March 5.

Please indicate your program/department when checking out. Items will be delivered to the Health Sciences Center for free pick up or may be shipped to a different address for a fee. More details will be provided regarding pick up at a later date.

For questions, please contact School of Medicine student Hannah Guschel at hcg0002@mix.wvu.edu.
