June 2024: Refresh and Reconnect

/ Court Side

Refresh and reconnect with yourself!

I know I have said it before, but summer truly is my favorite season. Not only is the weather amazing and there are so many fun things to do in our wonderful state, but it also is a time when I intentionally check in with myself.

Lately I have been engaging more with my strengths and my successes in life. I find that focusing on the things that make me great really help me overcome the areas where I am not as comfortable.

One way I have done this is by engaging more with the WVU Purpose Center and CliftonStrengths®. I even had my first coaching session this month. It was not what I expected – in the best ways possible! It has encouraged me to focus on my strengths more and encourage others to do the same.

So, in the spirit summer – let your strengths shine like the sun and let your care for each other radiate warmth and comfort wherever you are.
