Faculty Development Presentation: Intellectual Property in Education

The Health Science Faculty Development Program will host a session on Wednesday, Mar. 13 from noon to 1 p.m. in room, 2256 HSS.

Intellectual Property in Education will be presented by Erienne Olesh, Ph.D

After completing the program, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate ways in which course leaders can incorporate entrepreneurship in their course material.
  • Describe the benefits of creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem of students and student researchers.
  • Identify ways to expand course material into manuals or scalable material for wider distribution.
  • Explain ways to for a course instructor to encourage innovation in education and research.

The event is free and open to all WVU faculty. Those interested in registering or with questions should contact Trisha Hussing at 304-293-1979 or phussing@hsc.wvu.edu. Lunch will be provided only to those faculty who have pre-registered by noon on Wednesday, Mar. 6.
