Faculty and staff invited to continuing education event on disability education

The WVU School of Medicine invites interested faculty and staff to an upcoming continuing education event Friday, June 21, from 12-1:30 p.m. via Zoom. The event, titled "New Best Practices in Disability Education," will be presented by Dawn Bentley, M.Ed.

Bentley will provide an overview of evidence-based practice on disability awareness training and provide strategies to be used in disability education and awareness. 

The one-hour presentation will be followed by a 30-minute discussion on tangible ways to enhance teaching delivery for students when providing disability education. Register online for the event.
