Dr. Swapna Gayam seeking ideas, volunteers to create greener hospital
The healthcare industry accounts for roughly 10 percent of carbon emissions in the U.S. Mission Green is an employee-led group created by Swapna Gayam, MD, with a goal to make WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals greener.
Dr. Gayam is seeking creative minds and energetic volunteers to support this new initiative.She is holding a contest institution-wide for the best three ideas with detailed plans of how to make WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals greener.
