‘Community of Giving’ pop-up shop to offer regifting option after the holidays

After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season settles, many people find that they’ve received duplicate gifts or items they can’t utilize. Passing it on to another person is a great way to recycle a gift.

The WVU Health Sciences Community of Giving pop-up shop will provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to regift items after the holiday season.

Drop off unneeded gifts for donation at the Office of the Chancellor and Executive Dean, HSC-South 1000, from Jan. 3-13. Acceptable items include new, unused items with original packaging, such as clothing, home goods and electronics.

Then, from Jan. 17-20, members of the WVU Health Sciences community are invited to browse the Community of Giving pop-up gift shop in POD 288-C in The Market. Individuals can select 2-3 items for free. Any items not selected at the pop-up shop will be donated to a local non-profit organization.
