Health Sciences implements updated photography services and pricing
Following recent changes to the university’s photography pricing structure and to continue to support a photography studio that offers on-campus portraits and on-location photography services, WVU Health Sciences is implementing several updated policies and pricing.
Beckley Campus hosts southern West Virginia Junior Nursing Academy
The WVU School of Nursing Beckley Campus recently hosted the southern West Virginia Junior Nursing Academy to rising eighth, ninth and tenth graders who are interested in a career in nursing.
Participants sought to evaluate impact of yoga on health, specifically for individuals with high blood pressure
To be eligible for the research study, participants must be adults aged 18-65, diagnosed with high blood pressure, not currently involved in an exercise or yoga program, and not pregnant.
WVU to host in-person DNP Nurse Anesthetist information session Aug. 2
The WVU School of Nursing will host an in-person information session for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthetist program on Saturday, Aug. 2. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the session will kick off at 9 a.m. in Health Sciences Center-North, Room 2940B.

Deborah Sindy Suttle, who graduated from the WVU School of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1967, was recently recognized by her retirement community for her career as a nurse.
On-campus simulation opportunities now part of WVU Family Nurse Practitioner curriculum
The Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner program at the WVU School of Nursing is now offering students an opportunity to practice their skills hands-on at the WV STEPS Center, a state-of-the-art simulation lab at the WVU Health Sciences Center.
