WVU CPRC os recruiting for an upcoming study starting during the month of December. We are anticipating a patch study occurring the first three weekends in December and the second, third and fourth weekend in January. Check-in will most likely occur on the first, second and third Friday of December and the second, third and fourth Fridays in January. There is a possibility of two or more returns. The expanded and improved David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety – WV STEPS – will welcome visitors to an open house from 2:30-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The center is located on the third floor of Health Sciences South.
WVU seeking participants for autism study
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Researchers at West Virginia University are conducting a study to examine how individuals on the autism spectrum process what they see and hear. They are currently seeking adults with and without autism as study participants.
Student studies links between breastfeeding and oral health

Pack The Rack: Health Sciences Center collecting food for students in need
This holiday season, the WVU Health Sciences Center community is stepping up to make sure WVU’s student food pantry, The Rack, is stocked and ready heading into the cold months. The goal is to collect at least 2,015 non-perishable food items between Monday, Nov. 16, and the end of Fall Semester.

Help available with health insurance
Individuals and families who need assistance understanding health insurance options and applying for coverage are invited to meet with a healthcare navigator between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Monongalia County Health Department, 453 Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown.
