On February 6, two earthquakes measuring at 7.8 and 7.5 magnitudes struck Turkey and Syria. As a result, over 40,000 people have lost their lives, thousands of buildings have collapsed and more than 14 million people are in need of assistance.
Applications still being accepted for graduate student travel awards from the Office of Research and Graduate Education
The Office of Research and Graduate Education is providing funds to help support professional travel for graduate students. Applications are being accepted now, and students are encouraged to apply early given the high demand.
