An anonymous survey launching this week aims to gather honest information about the experiences of employees when they transitioned both to living in the Morgantown area and working at Health Sciences.
2020 RUSH (Rural Undergraduate Shadowing in Healthcare) Application Now Open!
Are you an undergraduate student interested in a career in a healthcare profession serving in a rural community? Thinking about medical or dental school? The WVU Institute for Community and Rural Health RUSH program is a great introduction to practicing in rural communities. The application is now open. All applications must be completed by September 30, 2020. A selection will be made by October 15, 2020.

WVU LGBTQ+ Center launching Anti-Racist and Gender-Inclusive Safe Zone Training
A new, student-led initiative through West Virginia University’s LGBTQ+ Center will promote anti-racist and gender-inclusive practices on campus through a series of trainings that include a history of racism, systemic discrimination, the complexities of identity-based on race/ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender, and certain language and resources to know how to intervene in bias, harassment and discrimination.
