Delta Omega Honorary Society Gamma Mu Chapter - Call For Leadership 2023-2024

Delta Omega Gamma Mu is looking for 2023-2024 Leadership members. Undergraduate, MPH, MHA, MS and PhD Public Health students are invited to apply for the open leadership positions. This coming year the following positions are available: President-Elect, Scholarship, Co-VP of Community Service, Social Engagement, Communications, Secretary/Treasurer. If interested, please complete the application form and email a current CV. Applications are due on Friday, April 15, 2023 at 5 p.m. Applicants will be contacted about their applications by Friday, May 5 and positions will start in the Fall 2023 semester.

As part of National Public Health Week, individuals are reminded that food and nutrition are at the core of many public health concerns. To support the campus and local community, the West Virginia University School of Public Health has compiled a list of some programs providing food and nutrition resources.

WVU will host “Focus on Fentanyl: West Virginia’s Response to the Deadliest Drug,” an educational symposium organized by the Mountaineer Fentanyl Education Task Force and Bill Ihlenfeld, United States Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia, Thursday, April 13.

The collaborative event will allow all current School of Public Health students to learn more about two of our student-led organizations and connect with members of Student Association of Public Health (SAPH) and the Delta Omega Honorary Society (DO) leadership.
