WVU to hold four in-person commencement ceremonies in May
West Virginia University graduates will return to in-person commencement ceremonies this May; and although some restrictions will be in place because of COVID-19, the celebrations will be no less memorable for the 4,499 who walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. Graduates from May, August and December 2020 are also eligible to participate in the exercises.

$1.27M gift boosts Huggins research endowment at WVU Cancer Institute
A Charleston man’s $1.27 million gift to the WVU Cancer Institute will help improve cancer care for future patients in memory of his late wife, certified orthopedic nurse Deborah K. Knowles.
Nominations now being accepted for Vice President’s Awards
The Vice President's Awards Committee is now accepting nominations. The awards are an opportunity to honor and recognize employees at the WVU Health Sciences Center. The deadline is April 30.
