Department of Medicine to hold first annual Research Day
The Department of Medicine will host the first annual Research Day on Friday, April 7, 2017. The event kick-off with a half-day program from noon to 5:00 p.m.

WVU to host workshop on resources, benefits for expecting parents
The WVU Council for Women's Concerns will host "What to Expect When You're Expecting … at West Virginia University" on March 22, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the Greenbrier Room of the Mountainlair. The workshop is available to all WVU employees.
Past president of the American Psychiatric Association to speak at Grand Rounds
WVU Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry will host Dr. Dilip V. Jeste, M.D., past president of American Psychiatric Association, on March 15, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
WellAware bystander training program offered at HSC
WVU will hold a WellAware bystander training program at the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, March 14 from noon to 1 p.m. in room G119 A&B.

Vice President's Awards accepting nominations through Mar. 15
The 5th Annual Vice President's Awards are now accepting nominations– and this is your opportunity to honor and recognize employees in the WVU Health Sciences Center. Faculty and staff members that excel in their positions, exhibit the true spirit of One WVU, and contribute to the clinical, educational, research and outreach missions are excellent candidates. Nominations can be submitted starting Wednesday, February 15 and will be open through March 15.
