Save the Date: WVU Health Sciences to offer Teaching Scholars Summer Institute
The West Virginia University Health Sciences Faculty Development Program will host its 20th annual Teaching Scholars Summer Institute June 3-5.
Harris, WVU faculty to speak at Student National Medical Association Black History Month events
The Student National Medical Association will celebrate Black History Month with a variety of speaker events throughout the month of February that highlight the stories and experiences of faculty and alumni. All events will be open to the public.
Managed Printing changes at HSC begin Feb. 27
Information Technology Services will begin removing old printer-copier devices at the HSC complex as part of the previously announced WVU Managed Printing Program on Tuesday, Feb. 27. This work will begin with the School of Dentistry and will continue across the HSC complex through June 30.
Project REACH to host Narcan training event
Project REACH (Rural Education Alliance for Community Health) will host a Narcan training event on Friday, Feb. 16, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in WVU Health Sciences Center North Room 1107 conducted by the Monongalia County Health Department.
Adobe will change how you can share Creative Cloud files with non-WVU recipients on Feb. 1
Starting Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, WVU employees will be unable to send files or folders from directly within the Creative Cloud suite to any external party. That includes anyone who is NOT covered by the University’s Adobe license, including third-party vendors such as printers and media organizations.

Throughout January, the Student Association of Public Health is sponsoring a coat drive benefiting Lauren’s Wish Addiction Triage Center, a local nonprofit organization. New or gently used adult winter coats will be accepted through Jan. 31.

As a young student, Lee Ann Miller’s interest in creative thinking drew her to the field of psychology. She attended college close to her hometown of Moundsville to study the discipline, and after earning an undergraduate degree, her interest in teaching and learning brought her to West Virginia University to enter the Master of Arts in Educational Psychology program.
