Medical Weight Management offering free lunch and learn series
WVU Medicine’s Medical Weight Management program is offering an informative and fun virtual lecture series via Microsoft Teams every second and fourth Friday of the month from noon to 12:30 p.m.

The history of medical treatment in the LGBTQ community is riddled with stigma and discrimination — from the view of homosexuality as an illness to the criminalization of same-sex intercourse. While policies and discussions have helped improve these perceptions, according to recent research, there is much work left to be done to support the health of queer and trans people, especially in rural areas.

Mountaineer Card services at HSC expanding Monday, July 25 to include smart card production
WVU Information Technology Services will expand ID card services provided at the current HSC Service Center on Monday, July 25 to better accommodate Health Sciences Center employees and students. This will eliminate the need to travel to other locations when you need a new, chipped “smart” card.
