WVU School of Dentistry takes tobacco cessation efforts on the road
During the recent 2019 West Virginia legislative session, Senate Bill 348 was voted down in the House Health Committee. The bill would have raised the legal age to use tobacco in West Virginia to 21. At the WVU School of Dentistry, faculty responds.
WVU in the News: WVU Medicine hosts grand opening for Center for Hope and Healing
WVU Medicine and the WVU Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry held a grand opening on Mar. 1 for the new WVU Medicine Center for Hope and Healing. The 29,305-square-foot addiction treatment facility offers 12 beds for subacute medically managed withdrawal residential care and 30 beds for residential care up to 28 days.
