Revised Final Exams Schedule for Spring 2020
Due to the University’s transition of all course delivery to distance learning platforms, the Offices of the Provost and the University Registrar have implemented a revised schedule for Spring 2020 final exams. The revised schedule is for all WVU-Morgantown undergraduate courses.
Some older patients may struggle with telemedicine during COVID-19 pandemic, says WVU nurse practitioner
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more patients are using their computers or smartphones to visit their doctors virtually instead of in person. But not everyone who needs to see a nurse or doctor while maintaining social distance can embrace telemedicine easily. One population may have an especially difficult time: elderly patients.

Charleston Surgeon Bryan Richmond Named Chair of Department of Surgery at WVU School of Medicine Charleston Campus
Bryan K. Richmond, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.S., professor of surgery at West Virginia University School of Medicine Charleston Campus has been named chair of the campus’s department of surgery effective May 1, 2020. Richmond has been serving as interim chair since earlier in the year.

The Monongalia County Health Department and West Virginia University were notified today (April 8) that more than a dozen WVU students have tested positive for novel coronavirus COVID-19.
