Dr. Anthony Steratore will be joining the education team as Clerkship Director
Dr. Anthony Steratore will be joining the Department of Emergency Medicine education team as Clerkship Director effective July 1, 2020. Dr. Steratore will join Dr. Tadros in the upcoming academic year with "co-directorship" and a planned full transition in July 2021. Dr. Steratore hails from Pennsylvania, a former college football player and avid outdoorsman, he completed both medical school and residency here at WVU.

Tests of Towers residents, workers return only one positive COVID-19 result
Tests of more than 100 residents and workers associated with West Virginia University’s Evansdale Residential Complex have been completed, with only one additional resident testing positive for COVID-19. The tests were administered after the University was informed Sunday that a resident had tested positive.

HSC Faculty Development Teaching Scholars Summer Institute 2020 to be hosted via Zoom
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the Teaching Scholars Summer Institute will not be a face-to-face program. Instead for 2020, it will be offered via the Zoom platform from June 1 to June 3, 2020.
