Monongalia County Health Department invites residents to take three-minute community health needs assessment
The Monongalia County Health Department conducts this Community Health Needs Assessment every three years. Residents of Monongalia, Preston and Marion counties are encouraged to take this three-minute survey that helps them decide what programs to offer and who to partner with to make real community changes.

Arruda named Reviewer of the Year by national journal
John “Brandon” Arruda, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, CUNP, has been named the 2025 Reviewer of the Year by the Urologic Nursing Journal for his contributions as a urologic oncology manuscript reviewer. A certified urologic nurse practitioner and member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, Arruda also has served on the Journal’s reviewer panel for several years where he helps advance published research in the field.
