Health Sciences Mountaineer Station parking garage elevators out of service
The elevators in the WVU Mountaineer Station parking garage are out of service until further notice. Repairs are being made, but the contractor is unable to provide a timeframe for when they’ll be put back in service.
SOLE Spotlight on Accessibility: Start with Alt Text and SOLE Accessibility Checker
Faculty who teach in SOLE can support the University’s ongoing efforts to create an inclusive digital environment and ensure compliance with federal accessibility rules by using the SOLE Accessibility Checker and adding meaningful alternative text (alt text) to visual content in courses.
STEPS Lead Simulation Education Specialist Rusty Doerr retirement party set for July 9
Join us on July 9 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the retirement of Russell “Rusty” Doerr, lead simulation education specialist, following more than 17 years of dedicated service in healthcare simulation at the David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS).
Blood Drive planned for July 7 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held on Tuesday, July 7, from noon to 6 p.m. at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Room A, for WVU employees and students.

Research Office launches recruitment website for participants in research studies
The Research Office has launched a centralized website to support recruitment efforts for researchers conducting Institutional Review Board or IRB-approved studies that are actively seeking participants. This resource is designed to help increase visibility for ongoing research projects and connect researchers with potential participants across the University community and beyond. It is a replacement for the Survey Tuesday mailing previously managed by Strategic Communications and Marketing.
