WVU OB/GYN Department's ACE program begins diaper and wipes drive
The ACE Program in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences is holding a diapers and wipes drive until Friday, July 1. Donations will be accepted on campus or through our Amazon gift registry. A donation box will be placed in the hallway behind Jazzman's on the Health Sciences Campus. The ACE Amazon Gift Registry can be accessed at this link. All donations will be given to ACE participants in need of baby supplies. WVU Medicine Children’s again named top hospital in West Virginia, Pediatric Urology nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report
For the second consecutive year, WVU Medicine Children’s has been named the top children’s hospital in West Virginia by U.S. News & World Report. The Hospital’s Pediatric Urology Program received its fifth-consecutive national ranking, taking the 41st spot in the country.
WVU to close Monday, June 20, in observance of Juneteenth
West Virginia University, including WVU Tech, Potomac State College, Extension offices and WVU Research Corp., will close Monday, June 20, following a declaration issued by Gov. Jim Justice proclaiming a state holiday in recognition of Juneteenth.
HSC VPN (GlobalProtect) updates
Starting June 27, use of HSC’s VPN (GlobalProtect) by faculty and staff will require a validated client machine certificate when connecting to the HSC network.
WVU Exercise Physiology graduate awarded $10K from West Virginia Business Plan Competition
Chase Rowand, a 2022 graduate of the Exercise Physiology program at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, has had his business plan selected for a $10,000 grant through the West Virginia Business Plan Competition.
Eight Rifle Team members named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Eight members of the West Virginia University rifle team were named to the 2022 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-America team, the organization announced.

Teaching Scholars Program set for 2022-23 academic year
The Teaching Scholars Program will be held via Zoom for one hour each Tuesday from Sept. 6, 2022, through May 23, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. This program is open to all WVU Health Sciences faculty.
Annual Palladino Lecture and Research Symposium open to Health Sciences community
The 29th Annual Antonio Palladino Memorial Lecture and Resident Research Symposium will be held Friday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Center and online via Zoom.
