Career Closet Pop-Up Shop empowers students with free professional attire
The WVU Health Sciences Student Career Center successfully hosted its first Career Closet Pop-Up Shop on April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing students with access to free professional clothing to support their academic and career journeys.

WVU in the News: WVU expert shares information about deadly chemical leak
Two people were killed and dozens injured, including emergency responders, after a volatile reaction at a chemical manufacturing facility in Nitro, West Virginia on Wednesday April 22, 2026. A chemical reaction occurred at Catalyst Refiners Inc. during a cleaning process involving a tank at the facility, creating hydrogen sulfide.
HSC Elevator Construction Update -- April 27
As part of the previously announced elevator construction project, the contractor has begun the process of upgrading buttons in the lobby areas of each floor today, Monday, April 27.

Winners include Faculty Graphical Abstract Competition - Toni Rudisill, Delta Omega Poster Competition - Devon Collins, General Poster Competition - Alexis Thrower, People's Choice Poster Competition - Sabrina Thorn.
