Henderson named editor-in-chief of public health journal
Heather Henderson, Ed.D., assistant professor of health policy, management and leadership and the director of accreditation, planning and evaluation for the WVU School of Public Health, has been named the new editor-in-chief of the Society for Public Health Education’s journal Pedagogy in Health Promotion.

Golden-Burkhardt Scholarship recipients committed to advancing public health in West Virginia
Two West Virginia University School of Public Health students are the inaugural recipients of the Golden-Burkhardt Scholarship, an award established by retired health professionals Dr. Joseph I. Golden, M.D., and Dr. Margaret A. Burkhardt, Ph.D., RN, to support graduate students dedicated to improving health outcomes in West Virginia.
