Free audiology screenings offered to WVU faculty and staff and WVU Medicine employees
The West Virginia University Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders is offering free audiology screenings to all WVU faculty and staff and WVU Medicine employees. The screenings will take place at the WVU Student Health Building, located at 375 Birch Street, from 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9.

WVU Cancer Institute first in state to implement new treatment for prostate cancer
Radiation oncologists at the WVU Cancer Institute are the first in the state to implement PluvictoTM (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan), a new treatment for metastatic prostate-specific membrane antigen-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (PSMA-positive mCRPC), which has spread to other parts of the body and has been resistant to other treatments.

Blood drive set for Aug. 10 for WVU Medicine and Health Sciences community
An American Red Cross blood drive will hosted Wednesday, August 10 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the WVU Medicine J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Room for employees and students.
