WVU Division of Physical Therapy celebrates Physical Therapy Month through upcoming event series
October is Physical Therapy Month, and the West Virginia University Division of Physical Therapy is recognizing the occasion by hosting daily events in the Pylons at WVU’s Health Sciences Center Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Oct. 25.

David Watson, M.D., professor and chair of the WVU School of Medicine Department of Neurology, has been named signature vice chair of WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) clinical operations and System integration and medical director of RNI multidisciplinary programs.

Construction on HSC-South third floor corridor to begin Oct. 25
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 25, HSC Facilities Management will close a portion of the HSC-South third floor corridor near the STEPS simulation center entrance. This work is being done to replace the ceiling and facilitate cosmetic upgrades to the corridor

On Wednesday (Oct. 2), the WVU Critical Care and Trauma Institute’s Fresh Tissue Training Program hosted an open house to highlight the $2.2 million renovation and expansion of its facilities, located on the ground floor of the WVU Health Sciences Center in Morgantown.
