For second-degree students, Aspiring Nurse Program helps turn nursing dreams into reality
Students seeking their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the WVU School of Nursing are eligible to apply for the WVU Medicine Aspiring Nurse Program, which provides direct financial assistance to nursing students at participating schools in return for a three-year work commitment at a hospital in the WVU Health System.

Physician Assistant students boast perfect pass rate on national certifying exam
The Physician Assistant Studies Class of 2024 at the West Virginia University School of Medicine achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE), performing above the national average in 20 of the 22 content areas of the exam. They are the first WVU class to do so since the program was established in 2020.
CED and Augusta Levy introduce new Wheeling support group for parents of children with disabilities
The WVU CED and the Augusta Levy Learning Center are offering a new monthly Circle of Parents Support Group in Wheeling, WV. The first meeting happens on July 16, 2024, with monthly meetings happening every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2:30 p.m.
