WVU alumnus pilots career in service through dentistry

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry, U.S. Air Force and Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service share many of the same core values, including integrity, service and excellence. It is no surprise, then, that Dr. Maurice Hamill was drawn to each organization, dedicating his education and career to serving his country and his patients and improving the well-being of others.

WVU CED seeks public help amidst proposed funding elimination

The federal budget calls to eliminate all University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs), including the WVU CED. UCEDDs provide free services to people with disabilities, train providers and families, and conduct important research. The AUCD and WVU CED both have developed tools for people to show their support if they so choose.
