The WVU School of Public Health is partnering with the Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center on their new “Build the Bounce” campaign to create a school-wide kickball tournament to be held on April 12, 2025 to raise money and create awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

Thank a Resident Day celebration planned for residents at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
Residents are encouraged to stop by the third-floor atrium in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 as part of the Thank a Resident Day celebration. A variety of activities are planned throughout the day to celebrate the contributions that residents make. Therapy dogs will be available from 11 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. and representatives for resident support services will be on hand through the day.
