Display in Pylons Commons recognizes Disability Day of Mourning
A display commemorating Disability Day of Mourning will be available for viewing in the WVU Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons Feb. 28 through March 1. All members of the community are welcome to visit the display at their convenience.
WVU School of Public Health partners with NIOSH to host Research Day
WVU School of Public Health, in partnership with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, is excited to announce the upcoming WVU Public Health - NIOSH Research Day. Faculty: Sign up for West Virginia State Medical Association Membership
Due to a change in membership and pricing structure, the School of Medicine now requires that any faculty member on the Morgantown Campus interested in keeping their West Virginia State Medical Association dues active through the University’s account must indicate so in an annual online form. Lisa Costello, M.D., an assistant professor with the Department of Pediatrics, currently serves as the Association's president and can help answer any questions current or potential members have regarding the WVSMA's goals, mission and purpose.
ID cards printed onsite at HSC before July 25, 2022 must be replaced to work with new Managed Printing devices
If you work at the Health Sciences Center and have an ID card that was printed at that location before July 25, 2022, you will need to get a new smart card to use the new Managed Printing devices that are being installed in the coming months.
Maintenance window for STAR, related systems will be extended Sunday, March 3
The normal Sunday maintenance window for Banner (STAR) and STAR-related applications will be extended to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 for important updates that require more time than normal.
New version of SOLE Lockdown Browser will be available starting Thursday, Feb. 22
The new version of SOLE Lockdown Browser will be available after 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Instructors and students participating in the Health Sciences laptop program are encouraged to upgrade your computers to the new version of the SOLE Lockdown Browser.
