WVU Family Medicine In the News: A Lesson In Cooking Fresh
WVU Family Medicine Clinical Director of Living Well Programs Judy Siebart presented an End of Summer cooking show open to the public at the UTC on August 26. The show was geared towards helping community members and attendees learn ways of putting all the summer produce they may have leftover to good use with easy recipes. The clinic hosts different events for the community through the Live Well! Wellness Programs. n accordance with WVU Board of Governors (BOG) Governance Rule 1.4 – Ethics, Conflict of Interest and Outside Consulting, all University faculty and non-classified staff must complete an annual disclosure form detailing their outside consulting arrangements undertaken during the past fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
Ramamurthy named interim chair of the Department of Biochemistry
Visvanathan Ramamurthy, Ph.D., has been named interim chair of the WVU School of Medicine’s Department of Biochemistry, effective September 6, 2019.
Former Ohio governor Kasich, WVU's Gee launch hospital-focused solution to address opioid crisis
Former Ohio Governor John Kasich and West Virginia University President Dr. Gordon Gee today announced the formation of Citizens for Effective Opioid Treatment at 130aday.com. The 501(c)(4) organization has a twofold mission to advance evidence-based solutions for America’s opioid crisis and to educate policymakers and the public about the negative impact the crisis is having on the nation’s health care infrastructure.
