Call for Submissions: The Robert E. Stitzel Award for Student-Generated Educational Media in Pharmacology
Students -- do you make your own study aids? Do you love to draw or make videos? Some of the major board preparation materials for health professional students (e.g., First Aid, Sketchy) got started when their founders were designing their own study aids as students. If you are a budding student educator, then the Robert E. Stitzel Award is here to recognize you.
Immunology and Medical Microbiology B.S. students present their research at Autumn Immunology Conference
Three Immunology and Medical Microbiology students recently attended the 48th Annual Autumn Immunology Conference in Chicago. Gwen Nurkiewicz (laboratory of Jennifer Franko), Katherine Lee (laboratory of Edwin Wan) and Quinn Hopen (laboratory of Rosana Schafer) presented their research in a poster session at the meeting. Katherine Lee received the Trends in Immunology top award for the best undergraduate poster presentation.

Deadline to receive flu shot is today

The bi-weekly trainings for web editors in the School of Medicine sites continue with the next session slated for Wednesday, Dec. 11. These trainings provide a one-on-one working session for department-level editors who wish to tackle specific tasks or have specific questions. Signups are available at this link, and they're first come, first served.
