Health Sciences students and faculty are invited to participate in a research study which is intended to improve patient care and to better understand the attitudes towards people with disabilities among dental, dental hygiene, medical and nursing students.
Career public servant brings dental care services to rural Tennessee
Dr. Julia Vines, who graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry, has been a public servant in oral healthcare in Tennessee for two decades. 2009 dental school graduate serving as community enrichment advocate
Dr. Jaclyn Rominger graduated from Bridgeport High School and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2009. She has practiced in her hometown her entire career. In addition to her recent appointment to a Harrison County community board, Rominger has also been a leader for Clarksburg League of Service and Medbrook Children's Charity board.

Ongoing WVU School of Dentistry renovations boost education, patient care
A $1.5 million project completed this fall updated WVU Dental treatment and reception areas with support from alumni and friends. The work was funded through Transforming Oral Health: The Campaign for Facilities, a $15 million fundraising effort to support multiphase facility upgrades for School of Dentistry units.
WVU Dental periodontist earns specialty board certification
As an addition to the School of Dentistry family, Dr. Andrea Pizzini provides patient care and is a faculty member in the WVU dental school’s postgraduate periodontics and dental implant program.
Interest in dental fraternity at WVU School of Dentistry soars
According to Dr. Lora Graves, advisor of the WVU chapter, the number represented a 115% increase, “an amazing feat for a pandemic year.”
