Student organization seeking participants for video encouraging young people to vote
Student Advocates Impacting Decisions on Healthcare (SAID-OH), a medical student organization, is working to make a short video featuring Health Sciences students encouraging young people and students to vote.

Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, MD, associate chair of surgery for cancer services, has been named the permanent director of the WVU Cancer Institute after having served in the position on an interim basis since January.

Diversity Week: School of Dentistry DEI Committee to showcase diverse cultures in poster display
As part of Diversity Week, the School of Dentistry's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will showcase information about different ethnic groups in the school in a poster display. The display will be available Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hallway to the right beyond the Pylons, between the School of Dentistry and the School of Pharmacy.
