WVU issues statement after FDA grants full approval Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
West Virginia University issued a statement on Monday (Aug. 23) after the Federal Drug Administration fully approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
WVU Health System to require COVID-19 vaccine by Oct. 31 for those working in patient care
The West Virginia University Health System announced today that it will require all of its employees to be fully vaccinated with both doses of the two-dose series by Oct. 31, 2021. Those on the Health Sciences Campuses involved in patient care, including residents, fellows and students, are required to follow WVU Health System policies, including those related to COVID-19, such as masks, PPE and vaccinations.

Study seeks students who want to exercise more
A new study at WVU Health Sciences is seeking students to participate in a new exercise study. Any WVU student who wants to start exercising regularly is eligible to sign up for eight weeks of free exercise training.
