West Virginia University is providing additional COVID-19 data to help the campus and surrounding community have a better understanding of positive test results, monitoring and response protocols.

WVU LGBTQ+ Center launching Anti-Racist and Gender-Inclusive Safe Zone Training
A new, student-led initiative through West Virginia University’s LGBTQ+ Center will promote anti-racist and gender-inclusive practices on campus through a series of trainings that include a history of racism, systemic discrimination, the complexities of identity-based on race/ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender, and certain language and resources to know how to intervene in bias, harassment and discrimination.
Kennedy-Rea selected as finalist for National Cancer Award
Stephenie Kennedy-Rea, Ed.D., WVU Cancer Institute associate director for Cancer Prevention and Control, has been honored as a finalist in the second annual Cancer Community (C2) Awards Catalyst for Change category.
‘We Are Stronger Together’ scholarships aid students affected by COVID-19
“We Are Stronger Together,” a special fundraising initiative launched by the WVU Foundation, is providing nearly $80,000 in scholarship support for students in need. Contributions to the ongoing effort assist WVU students affected by the pandemic with tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses.
